Friends who love growing orchids will think of ways to make homemade orchid fertilizer, which is both economical and environmentally friendly, so what are the ways to make homemade orchid fertilizer?

Ways to make homemade orchid fertilizer:

You can use composted fertilizer as orchid fertilizer. Composted fertilizer causes no fertilizer burn, is nutritious, has high fertilizer efficiency, does not affect soil structure, does not cause physiological diseases, and can enhance the plant's stress resistance, making it a good fertilizer for soil-based cultivation. But it also has disadvantages such as easily carrying and attracting fungi and insects, and having a strong foul odor. The ways to overcome the disadvantages are: in every 50 kg of diluted solution, add 100 g of carbendazim or tuijunte. For the strong foul odor, a 5%-10% orange peel water infusion or edible rice vinegar can be used to water or spray, which will remove the odor.

The method for making composted fertilizer is: choose a water vat or large plastic bucket and fill it with human urine, rabbit urine, or rice washing water, etc., add 7 parts seed residue cake and 3 parts bone meal, filling 40% of the container's volume, then add urine, etc., until 80% of the container. Cover the mouth of the vat or bucket with multiple layers of plastic film, tie it tightly with rope, and let it sun. In summer and autumn, it only needs to be composted for 1 month; in winter and spring, it must be composted for more than 3 months before use.

In order to use the composted fertilizer stock solution without filtering it, you can put seed residue cake, crushed bones, etc., into a woven bag, then place the whole bag into the container to compost.

The application concentration of the composted fertilizer liquid is a 150-200 times dilution.
