Cymbidium summer orchid: growing methods and propagation techniques

I. Growing conditions
1. Soil: Choosing good loam is an important factor in caring for the plant well, so our requirement for this is that when excess water accumulates in the pot, it can be drained away in time, rather than collecting there and causing root rot. In addition, it must not be too poor; we can add an appropriate amount of humus or fertilizer to it.
2. Watering: When the external ambient temperature is not very high, the plant's transpiration is not very frequent either, so there is no need to give too much water; as long as the potting soil is moist, that is enough. Generally speaking, watering once every 5-7 days is sufficient, while in hot summer weather it needs to be given about 2 times a day.
3. Temperature: The plant most likes to live in an environment between 16-24°C. In winter it must not go below 5°C, and in summer it must not exceed 30°C.
4. Light: The plant does not need too many hours of light exposure, and even more so must not be exposed to strong light.
II. Propagation methods
1. Division: This activity can be carried out in either spring or autumn. Before dividing, gradually reduce watering to make it easier to handle, and after completion, water thoroughly for care.
2. Sowing: This method is simple and easy to carry out. You only need to scatter plump seeds in the soil, then cover them well and give enough water.
