How to grow orchids and what to pay attention to

I. Cultivation Methods

1. Soil: Choose soil with good air permeability; it can be made by mixing garden soil and charcoal in a 3:1 ratio. After placing the soil in a flower pot, dig a hole in the middle, put the plant in it and bury it well.

2. Watering: Water frequently to keep the soil in the pot moist. In spring and autumn, water once every two or three days. In summer, when the temperature is high, water once every morning and evening, and you can also spray some water around the plant to increase the moisture content in the air around it.

3. Fertilizing: From June to September, apply a liquid fertilizer once at sunset, and after fertilizing, give the plant some water the next morning.

4. Temperature: The suitable temperature for this type of plant's growth is 16-24°C, and in hot summer the temperature should not be above 30°C. In winter, the temperature difference between day and night should not be too large. A daytime temperature of 10-12°C and a nighttime temperature of 5-10°C are beneficial to the plant's growth.

II. Precautions

1. In summer, pay attention to shading the plant or placing it in a place with weaker sunlight to prevent the plant from being damaged.

2. Do not give too much water. In summer, you can also spray some water around the plant to increase the moisture content in the air.

3. Place it in a well-ventilated place and pay attention to observing the plant's condition to prevent and control pests and diseases.
