Why do Clivia leaves become soft and droop

Why do Clivia leaves go limp

1. Temperature too high

1. Cause: Clivia likes warmth and fears an overly hot environment. Normally, it should be grown in an environment between 15-20°C. If the temperature is too high, exceeding 30°C, it may be unable to adapt, and then develop the problem of soft leaves.

2. Solution: Move the plant to a location with a temperature below 25°C, and provide slight ventilation, to help it recover.

2. Sunlight too strong

1. Cause: Clivia cannot directly receive overly strong sunlight, otherwise the water in its leaves will quickly evaporate, resulting in the problem of soft leaves.

2. Solution: Move the plant to a shadier place, and mist it frequently, keeping the air humidity slightly higher, until it recovers.

3. Lack of water

1. Cause: If when growing it, water is not given in time, leaving it continuously short of water, this can also cause its leaves to become limp.

2. Solution: By the method of soaking the pot, water its flower soil completely through. Then spray a small amount of water on its leaves, to replenish water. After that, slightly increase the frequency of watering.
