Cultivation methods and precautions for Panlongxiang

Growing Panlongxiang requires loose, breathable, nutrient-rich, well-draining sandy soil. It has a high demand for water, and during care the soil should be kept slightly moist, but waterlogging must not occur. During the vigorous growth period, apply light fertilizer frequently. Ample scattered light is more favorable for its growth, and it also has a certain degree of cold tolerance.
Methods for growing Panlongxiang
1. Soil selection
Growing Panlongxiang requires loose, breathable, nutrient-rich, well-draining sandy soil. When preparing the soil, you can choose leaf mold, sandy loam, and river sand mixed evenly in a 2:2:1 ratio. Before planting, the soil needs to be sterilized first, and then some organic fertilizer can also be added to enhance soil fertility.
2. Watering and fertilizing
Panlongxiang likes to grow in a humid environment and has a relatively high demand for water. During care, the soil should be kept slightly moist, but waterlogging must not occur. During the plant's vigorous growth period, apply diluted fertilizer water once every half month. Before and after flowering, apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer frequently so that it can grow more beautifully and vigorously.
3. Light and temperature
Panlongxiang likes to grow in a semi-shaded environment. In spring and autumn, it can be placed in a spot with scattered light for care, and in summer, shading measures should be taken. It likes warmth, and the most suitable growth temperature is around 20°C. It has a certain cold tolerance, but in winter in the north it is best to keep it indoors in a warm place.
