How to make homemade plant rooting hormone? Detailed method and steps

1. Rice vinegar water solution
Choose higher-quality rice vinegar and mix it with cool boiled water at a ratio of 1:100 to make a rice vinegar water solution. It is suitable for soaking cuttings of fruit trees such as grapes. When using, place the lower part of the cuttings in the solution and soak for 8-12 hours, then remove and plant. It can significantly increase the survival rate and make the cuttings grow faster and stronger.
2. Aspirin solution
Soaking cuttings in a 0.01% aspirin solution can significantly increase the germination rate. Soaking transplanted seedlings in a 0.05% aspirin solution can shorten the recovery period, prevent the seedlings from drying out, and increase the survival rate.
3. Vitamin B12 solution
Take medical-grade vitamin B12 injection and dilute it with 1 part cool boiled water. Place the lower cut end of the cuttings in the diluted solution and soak for 5 minutes before planting. It can both promote root growth and promote tissue healing.
4. Willow branch extract
Willow liquid is a very good plant growth agent. Its liquid is rich in growth hormones. Using it as a growth agent does not harm the plant and also makes roots grow quickly.
Specific method: Take several willow branches and leaves, crush the branches with a hammer, then soak them in water. After one day, remove the branches and leaves, and the water is the willow extract. The next day, soak the cuttings in it for about 1 day (a longer time is also fine, as willow liquid contains components that inhibit bacterial reproduction), then plant them as usual. Roots grow quickly and in large numbers, and the plants grow robustly.
5. Sucrose solution
Dissolve sucrose in boiling water to make a 5%-10% sucrose solution. After it cools naturally, soak the bases of cuttings of flowers that root relatively easily, such as Chinese rose, fig, goji berry, and poinsettia, in the sugar solution for 4-6 hours before planting. For cuttings that root more slowly, the sugar solution concentration still needs to be doubled (the higher the sugar solution concentration, the shorter the soaking time).
6. Honey water solution
During asexual propagation of flowers, growth hormones are usually used to promote rooting of cuttings. If there is no auxin, you can dip the cuttings in honey, then plant them, which can increase the survival rate and promote rooting.
7. Potassium permanganate solution
Place the bases of the cuttings in a 0.1%-0.5% potassium permanganate solution and soak for 10-12 hours, then remove and plant immediately.
