How to Grow Beans in Continuous Rainy Weather: Planting Methods and Precautions
I. How to Grow Beans When It Rains Every Day
When it rains every day, you cannot sow soybeans, otherwise the soil will be too wet and the soybeans will rot in the soil and simply will not germinate and emerge. Moreover, rain every day will also cause the soil to become compacted, and in some areas, due to soil erosion, some soybeans will be covered with too much soil and be unable to break through the soil layer. Some soybeans are washed out of the soil, and after the weather clears, the soybeans cannot absorb water, so the seeds cannot germinate smoothly.

Therefore, when it rains every day, it is best not to sow soybeans. Wait until the rain stops before sowing. If the soil is too wet, wait a few days before sowing. Also, before sowing after the rain, you can loosen the soil in the field to increase the soil's air permeability, which is more beneficial for seed germination. In addition, if it only drizzles lightly every day, it will not affect sowing soybeans; making the soil slightly moist is actually more conducive to soybean germination.
II. How to Sow Soybeans
Soybeans are usually sown from mid-to-late April to early May, that is, when the outdoor soil temperature reaches 8-10°C. Before sowing, prepare the land and apply fertilizer, form ridges keeping the soybean row spacing at 30-35 cm, then dig holes on the ridges, keeping the soybean plant spacing at 15-20 cm, with a hole depth of about 3 cm. Then bury the soybean seeds in the holes, backfill the soil and press it firm with your hands. If the soil is moist at sowing, no watering is needed after sowing; if the soil is dry at sowing, each hole needs to be watered with 2 ladles of clear water after sowing. After that, as the soybeans grow, carry out intertillage and weeding, apply additional fertilizer as appropriate, and harvest once the soybeans mature.
