Where are durian trees suitable for planting
I. Suitable locations
The durian tree is a tropical tree that thrives in high-temperature environments. The suitable growing temperature is around 25-30°C, and the planting area should ideally have a daily average temperature above 22°C. It cannot grow in cold regions and needs to be planted in areas without frost throughout the year, with temperatures not falling below 10°C. If the temperature is too low, growth will stop and the tree may even freeze to death. Therefore, it is generally planted in southern regions, such as Hainan and Yunnan. It cannot be planted in northern regions.

II. Planting methods
1. Time selection: Choose a suitable time for planting. October and November each year are the best times to plant. At this time, the survival rate is relatively high, and the timing for maturity and market release is also very suitable.
2. Collect seeds: After the durian matures, take out the mature seeds. They should be plump, full, and relatively healthy without pests or diseases.
3. Treat the seeds: Because the outer shell is relatively hard, you should first wash off the outer pulp, then soak them in warm water to absorb moisture. This can soften the seed coat and promote germination.
4. Prepare the soil and fertilize: Prepare the soil used for planting. It must be loose, breathable, and rich in nutrients. It cannot be planted in low-lying areas with compacted soil.
5. Sow the seeds: Sow the seeds at a certain spacing and cover them with soil.
6. Management and transplanting: After planting, when the seedlings grow, pay attention to weeding, and then carry out transplanting.
