What's the matter when a clivia leaf breaks? Here's the correct way to handle it

What's going on when a clivia leaf breaks? How to handle it.
Generally, in clivia care, root damage and broken leaves are common problems.
The handling is as follows:
① Treatment after clivia root damage. For mechanical damage to clivia roots, fertilizer burn and the like, repot and change the soil immediately, otherwise the roots will rot and the plant will die. When changing the soil, apply plant ash to the injured roots as an antiseptic. After repotting, place the pot in a shaded environment and strictly avoid rain. Spray the leaf surface with water every day so that the leaves and the potting soil stay slightly moist; this speeds up the drying and healing of the root wounds, then gradually return to normal care.
② Method for replanting broken clivia leaves. With clivia, the leaves are enjoyed more than the flowers, so keeping the leaves intact is very important. But sometimes a leaf is accidentally knocked and damaged or broken off. With prompt rescue, a broken leaf can certainly be replanted. If the leaf is only injured and not broken off, first fix it in place with a suitably sized piece of glass, then wrap it with transparent adhesive tape. Since both the glass and the transparent tape let light through, they will not affect the leaf's photosynthesis. But before wrapping, be sure to align the broken part correctly, and use absorbent cotton to thoroughly wipe away the sap on the broken leaf, so as to avoid affecting the result.
