Why are the leaves of the Christmas cactus drooping?

A drooping Christmas cactus may be caused by improper care in terms of light, temperature, watering, and fertilization. During care, it needs 7-8 hours of light, with appropriate shading in summer. Keep the growing temperature between 18-25 degrees, and water it so that it dries out between waterings. Also fertilize regularly and in appropriate amounts, mainly with phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, supplemented by nitrogen fertilizer.
Reasons for a drooping Christmas cactus
1. Caused by improper light
A drooping Christmas cactus is caused by insufficient light or exposure to strong sun, so you need to maintain sufficient light conditions, keeping 7-8 hours of sunlight exposure every day. In summer, because the light is relatively strong, you should shade it appropriately and avoid prolonged exposure to strong sun.
2. Caused by improper temperature
A drooping Christmas cactus is caused by temperatures that are too low or too high. Its most suitable growing temperature is between 18-25 degrees. When the winter temperature drops below 0 degrees, it will cause frost damage, so you should take timely measures to keep it warm and insulated, and place it in a warm, sunny spot indoors.
3. Caused by improper watering
A drooping Christmas cactus is caused by overwatering or drought, so you must water it reasonably. In spring and summer, water once every 3-4 days, and in autumn and winter, keep it to once every 7-10 days. Each time you water, keep the potting soil moist, and do not let water accumulate.
4. Caused by improper fertilization
A drooping Christmas cactus is caused by insufficient fertilizer or severe fertilizer burn, so during the growing season you should fertilize regularly and in appropriate amounts, for example applying a 1000-fold potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution once every half month, and during the bud stage you can apply additional phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. After the flowers fade, reduce fertilization, and before winter arrives, apply a small amount of base fertilizer.
