How do you care for a frangipani (plumeria) to encourage flowering?

To get a frangipani to bloom, you need to grow it in loose soil with good drainage and aeration, and meet its water and nutrient needs. Change the watering frequency according to the season; in summer and autumn you can fertilize appropriately, and place the frangipani in an environment with high humidity, high temperatures and plenty of sunlight.
1. Soil
Frangipani grows quickly and has a well-developed root system, so when choosing a container for planting, choose a deeper one, and use loose soil with good drainage and aeration, such as nutrient-rich humus soil, peat soil or fertilized original soil.
2. Watering
The watering frequency for frangipani should be determined by the season. In spring and autumn, when the plant grows vigorously, water every two or three days. In summer, when temperatures are high, water once each morning and evening, but do not water at noon. In cold winter, no watering is needed, but keep the soil moist.
3. Fertilizing
Frangipani has a high demand for nutrients. When repotting or changing the soil, we can appropriately apply some fertilizer to the frangipani to supplement its calcium. In summer and autumn, fertilize once every half month; in winter, no fertilizing is needed.
4. Light
To get a frangipani to bloom, ample light is essential. With insufficient light, the frangipani will delay flowering or fail to bloom. Frangipani likes to grow in an environment with high humidity, high temperatures and plenty of sunlight, but it cannot be exposed to continuous harsh sun, otherwise the frangipani will also fail to bloom.
