How often should you water a money tree? A detailed guide to the correct watering method

The money tree (Pachira aquatica) likes a warm, humid environment with full sun or light partial shade, but it must not be exposed to blazing sun, otherwise the leaves will grow poorly.
The money tree likes moisture; keep the soil moist at ordinary times, especially during the growing season, when it needs a sufficient supply of water, so pay attention to watering.
Do not water too much, as this easily breeds bacteria and in serious cases can lead to waterlogged, rotted roots.
Water according to weather conditions and how dry the soil is; in winter, when temperatures drop, the water requirement also drops, so there is no need to water too much, and keep the soil dry.
Also pay attention to spraying a mist of water on the leaves and the surrounding environment to raise air humidity.
The money tree grows fairly quickly, so during the growing season it needs a relatively ample supply of fertilizer.
After it sprouts, apply a compound fertilizer solution of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium two or three times a month to keep the plant sturdy and the leaves emerald green.
Organic fertilizer can also be applied to the soil.
Note that during the peak growing season, try not to use nitrogen fertilizer, to avoid leggy growth.
