Spider Plants Indoors in Summer: Avoid Intense Light

Spider Plant

Although spider plants are easy to grow, their leaf tips are prone to drying out, scorching and turning yellow. When growing spider plants in summer, the biggest things to avoid are light that is too intense, insufficient air humidity, and improper fertilizing, all of which can cause leaves to scorch and turn yellow. If a spider plant develops yellow, dried-up leaf tips, there is no need to worry: move it to a semi-shaded, well-ventilated spot, and frequently mist the leaves and the surrounding area to raise air humidity; when fertilizing, avoid getting fertilizer on the leaves. In addition, check whether the roots have rotted, and promptly cut away any rotten parts.
