For succulents to color up in winter, the right timing, conditions and care all matter; grasp two points and coloring up becomes super easy

Friends who love succulents always hope their succulents will develop better colors and a better condition, and this can be said to be the dream of every succulent enthusiast. January is exactly the time of Minor Cold and Major Cold, and we should also seize this opportunity to make our succulents more beautiful.

To make succulents more beautiful, two conditions must be met: first, a large temperature difference; second, light and ultraviolet rays. As long as these two conditions are met, succulents will generally become more and more beautiful.

Of these two conditions, the harder one to achieve is the large temperature difference, especially since we do not have such professional greenhouses, so a large temperature difference depends entirely on the weather. Recently it happens to be the season of Minor Cold and Major Cold, which is a period with the right timing, conditions and care, very suitable for succulents to color up.

First we should mention that succulents generally cannot overwinter below 0 degrees, so they usually need to be cared for indoors. The chlorophyll in succulents is not tolerant of low temperatures, so when succulents encounter a low-temperature environment, the chlorophyll will automatically decrease, and they can form anthocyanins within their bodies, which makes it easier for succulents to color up.

If you want succulents to color up, we need to move them outdoors for care. Of course, if the outdoor temperature is around 10°C, and if ultraviolet rays are blocked outside by glass, then it will not be easy for succulents to color up.
