How to sprout soybean sprouts

1. Choosing soybean seeds

When choosing seeds, try to use mature soybeans harvested the same year; the seeds should be plump and undamaged, and they should be stored in a cool, dry environment.

2. Treating the seeds

To make the seeds sprout as early as possible, priming treatment and soaking treatment are often used. Priming treatment means that after selecting the bean seeds, you soak them in hot water at 60° for 1 to 2 minutes, then rinse them with cold water. Soaking treatment means placing the beans in warm water at 20 to 30 degrees for a soak; the soaking time is usually 8 to 12 hours.

3. Sprouting temperature

The minimum temperature for its seeds to sprout is around 10 degrees, 21 to 27 degrees is the optimal temperature, and 28 to 30 degrees is the maximum temperature; it must not be allowed to exceed 32 degrees. When promoting sprouting, watering is used to regulate the temperature, for example, if the temperature is too high in summer, water it with cold water. When the temperature is low in winter, water it with warm water.

4. Watering to speed up sprouting

When promoting sprouting, the watering method is used; you need to water all the seeds in the whole container so that the heat of the container and the young sprouts is even. In this way, before long, it will produce young sprouts.
