How to Grow Garlic Chive Yellow, and What Garlic Chive Yellow Is

I. How to Grow Garlic Chive Yellow

1. Hydroponics: Prepare several heads of garlic, peel off the outermost skin of the garlic heads, then prepare a shallow dish and arrange the garlic heads in it, filling the gaps between the heads with garlic cloves. Next, pour clean water into the shallow dish, adding water to cover 1/3 of the garlic's height, place it in a dark little room, and replenish the water promptly when it runs out. Hydroponically grown garlic will sprout in 3 days, and in half a month it will have grown tall enough to harvest; when harvesting, leave 10cm and cut off the garlic chive yellow, then keep the rest under light-blocking care, and after another half a month you can cut another round. Generally, hydroponically grown garlic can be cut three times.

2. Soil culture: Prepare several heads of garlic, soak the garlic in clean water for 2 days, then take the garlic out, place it in a cool, ventilated spot to drain off the water, and let the garlic grow roots. After the garlic has grown new roots, cut off the old roots, plant the garlic in soil, cover it with 3cm of fine sandy soil, water it thoroughly and place it in a dark little room, and normally keep the soil slightly moist. When the garlic chive yellow grows to 30-40cm tall, it can be harvested.

Garlic chive yellow is a kind of vegetable, sold in supermarkets and vegetable markets. In fact, garlic chive yellow is grown by vegetable farmers using garlic in a dark environment, including two methods: soil culture and hydroponics.
