Ventilation and temperature

Everyone must remember to place the potted plant in a growing environment by a south-facing window with fairly abundant light and good ventilation. The most suitable ambient temperature for its growth is 20-30°C. Unlike other plants, summer heat makes the environment very stuffy and muggy, and this environment is not conducive to its rapid growth; in winter its requirements also differ from those of other plants, and its temperature requirements are especially strict. When the ambient growing temperature drops below 10°C, the plant will immediately stop growing, and more seriously, if its environment is below 4°C, it cannot safely overwinter.

Sunlight and humidity

Like other plants, it is a sun-loving plant. Leaving it for a long time in a damp, light-blocking environment will cause poor growth, making its leaves turn yellow and drop off.

Fertilizing

During the plant's growing season, you can apply a dilute, thin liquid fertilizer to the plant once every half month. At the same time, use some slow-release fertilizer and bury it regularly in the soil. As with other plants, the editor suggests that after the Mid-Autumn Festival, you had best regularly apply additional fertilizer to the plant, with the aim of increasing its cold resistance for overwintering.

Pruning

During its growing season, I suggest pruning it once a month, with the aim of not only encouraging many tender, fresh green leaves to sprout but also forming a very full plant shape.

In summer, everyone should pay attention to regularly checking the plant's tender shoots and leaves. If you find something like swallowtail butterfly larvae feeding on the plant's young branches and leaves, you should pinch them to death promptly.
