How to Use Areca Palm for Flower Arrangements and Pruning Techniques
I. Pruning Methods for Flower Arrangements
1. Method one: Using the main stem at the center of the areca palm leaf as the reference, cut the leaves on both sides of it in half, then make a horizontal cut across part of the leaf tip. Pruned this way, it looks very unique when used in flower arrangements.

2. Method two: Again using the main stem of the leaf as the center, when cutting, start from the tip and work toward the base of the leaf, gradually narrowing it. The pruned shape resembles a banana leaf fan and is highly ornamental. Conversely, you can also gradually widen it from the leaf tip; just prune it according to your own needs and preferences.
II. How to Use It for Flower Arrangements
According to your own ideas and preferences, use scissors to cut the leaves into the most creative shapes, and when arranging flowers, simply place them into the vase together with other floral materials.
Not only can it be used in flower arrangements after pruning, but you can also use a weaving method. Fold the outermost part of the areca palm leaf inward, and insert it crosswise into the leaf parallel to it, using the same method on both sides. Finally, after securing it with something, just cut off the excess leaves.
