How do you plant a pomegranate tree? Which direction in the yard is best?
I. The direction to plant it in the yard
When planting a pomegranate tree in a yard, you can plant it in the east, southeast, south and other directions. Planting it in these directions is first of all beneficial for its growth and care - it likes sunlight, and in these directions it can fully receive sunlight; sufficient light helps flower bud differentiation and produces more fruit. It also carries good symbolism, representing happiness and completeness, many children and much blessing, and the fiery red pomegranates look prosperous and lively. Note that when planting in a yard, it should not be too close to the house, especially not near a window.

II. How to plant it
1. Before planting, first choose the variety. There are many varieties of pomegranate trees, so choose one with good quality that you like, then go to the market to buy a young plant. You can also buy seeds and grow them into young plants yourself for planting; this also works, but for convenience it is best to choose young plants.
2. If planting in the ground, first choose a good location - a spot facing the sun, sheltered from the wind and not low-lying, with loose and fertile soil, and mix base fertilizer into the soil. If growing in a pot, prepare the soil in advance.
3. Prune the young plant you bought, then plant it in the soil, cover it with soil and press it firm, water it thoroughly immediately to promote root establishment, keep it in a place with good light, manage water and fertilizer well, and prune the branches regularly to prevent pests and diseases.
