How to fertilize a money tree, and what fertilizer is best?

I. Fertilization timing

First, when planting it, fertilizer is needed, that is, base fertilizer. Then, when it is in its growth period, it needs more fertilizer and can be applied in appropriate amounts.

II. Types of fertilizer

The fertilizer used at planting is mainly solid fertilizer that can be mixed with the soil; bone meal and the like can also be used. During the growth period, some compound fertilizer can be used. In addition to the three main elements nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, some trace elements also need attention.

III. Fertilization methods

1. When planting, the soil needs to be selected first. After disinfection, base fertilizer can be mixed in, taking care that it is even. When applying compound fertilizer, follow the principle of light fertilizer applied frequently, that is, do not apply it at too high a concentration; dilute it and pour it on the soil surface.

2. The frequency of topdressing should also be noted; the number of fertilizer applications does not need to be too many. Generally, fertilizing about once every half a month is enough. If the growth condition is relatively weak, the interval can be slightly shorter.

3. In spring, take care to use more nitrogen fertilizer and phosphorus fertilizer to promote the growth of its branches and leaves. In other seasons, pay more attention to the intake of trace elements.

IV. Precautions

Fertilizing is not suitable on rainy days. After fertilizing, the fertilizer will be washed away by rain, and this portion of fertilizer will be wasted.
