How to fertilize moss rose and what fertilizer is best?
I. Fertilization timing
Moss rose has a relatively high demand for fertilizer. First, when repotting, a base fertilizer is needed. Then, when it enters the growth stage, because of its vigorous growth, it requires topdressing. After the bud stage, foliar fertilizer should especially be applied.
II. Types of fertilizer
The base fertilizer chosen is mainly some organic fertilizers, such as some animal manure. The topdressing mainly uses fertilizers rich in nitrogen, and potassium is also relatively important, such as urea, plant ash, etc. For foliar fertilizer, solutions of zinc, copper, manganese, etc. can be used.

III. Fertilization methods
1. When using base fertilizer, simply mix it evenly with the substrate. When topdressing, if using urea, it can be diluted with water before application; if using plant ash, you can dig some small pits in the surface of the soil and then apply it into these small pits. Foliar fertilizer is applied directly to the surface of the leaves.
2. For topdressing, pay attention to the fertilization interval, which can be controlled at about two weeks; there is no need to do it too frequently.
IV. Precautions
When the temperature is too high or too low, moss rose may enter a dormant stage, and at this time fertilization can be paused; applying too much fertilizer is likely to harm the plant itself.
