How to sprout bean sprouts? Detailed methods and precautions
I. How to sprout bean sprouts
1. Prepare a 2L plastic bottle, rinse the plastic bottle clean, cut off the bottom of the bottle, use a needle to poke several small holes in the bottle cap, and also prepare a base to hold the bottle steady.
2. Prepare 150g of mung beans, rinse the mung beans clean with water, put them in a bowl, pour in about 70°C boiling water, and promote sprouting by soaking the seeds in hot water. After adding the hot water, wait 2 minutes, then pour in cold water so the water temperature drops to about 45°C.
3. Soak the mung beans in clean water for 4 hours, stirring 3-4 times during this period. After soaking, take the mung beans out, put them into the prepared plastic bottle, and cover the bottle with a black light-blocking cloth, or place it in a dark room.

4. During the process of sprouting mung bean sprouts, make sure the environment is dark. Every 4 hours, rinse the bean sprouts several times with clean water; a water temperature of about 23°C is most suitable. At night when sleeping, the rinsing interval can be appropriately extended: rinse once before going to bed and once after getting up in the morning.
5. During the bean sprouting period, keep the care temperature at 23-25°C. In about 2-3 days the mung bean sprouts will sprout, and in 4-5 days the mung bean sprouts will fill the bottle opening.
II. What precautions should be taken when sprouting bean sprouts
When sprouting bean sprouts, all containers must be ensured to be clean and free of contamination; they can be scalded with boiling water once before use to disinfect them. During the bean sprouting process, make sure the care environment has not even a trace of light, and do not place them in a place with heavy cooking fumes for sprouting bean sprouts.
