How to rescue a stunted bud on a potted orchid? Practical methods shared

Why do stunted buds appear on potted orchids? There are many reasons why a potted orchid develops stunted buds. For example, the small bud was repotted during its growth period before it had put out roots; the small bud was repotted after it had already put out new roots, damaging the new roots; the fertilizer level of the potting medium exceeded what the orchid itself needed, so the small bud's new roots could not grow; the mother plant was fed hormones (cytokinins); the potting medium was not clean, especially if it contained greasy matter, making new buds prone to stunting; or the mother plant suffered fertilizer burn, so its new buds also became stunted. But no matter which cause led to it, the corresponding remedial measures must be taken. The methods for rescuing stunted buds are as follows.
1. Do not repot the potted orchid. Thin the tip of a bamboo chopstick and gently loosen the potting medium around the stunted bud. Then, with one hand steadying the pseudobulb that has sprouted the stunted bud, use the other hand to pinch the stunted bud and gently twist it, leaving the stunted bud in a half-separated, half-attached state, thereby increasing the stunted bud's ability to "stand on its own."
2. First water the pseudobulb and the root growth points of the stunted bud with a 500-fold dilution of Orchid Bacteria King. Then fill the area around the pseudobulb and the stunted bud with fine-grained potting medium that has been soaked for 30 minutes in a diluted solution of Root Stimulator or Orchid Bacteria King. Every 7 days, apply a diluted solution of Root Stimulator, Orchid Treasure, Orchid Bacteria King or similar as a top dressing to promote rapid rooting of the stunted bud, enhance its growth vitality, and encourage it to unfurl leaves.
3. For stunted buds that have been revived, since they are still in a weak growth state at this time, it is necessary to ensure suitable light, temperature and humidity, provide a ventilated and airy environment for orchid growth, apply water and fertilizer at the right time and in the right amount, and carry out good pest and disease control measures. By the next year, the stunted bud will be able to sprout strong buds.
