Care methods for making clivia leaves grow evenly

How to make clivia leaves grow evenly

1. Direction of light. To avoid clivia leaves growing unevenly in width and length, during care the direction of light should be parallel to the direction in which the leaves spread; rotate the pot 180 degrees about once a week so that light is received evenly.

2. Water and fertilizer must be supplied in a balanced way. During the clivia's growth period, when water and fertilizer are supplied appropriately, the leaves grow normally; once the supply of water and fertilizer is unbalanced, the leaves will grow unevenly.

3. Summer care. In summer, clivia needs shading and cooling; when the temperature is above 30 degrees, the leaves are prone to leggy growth, resulting in uneven lengths.

4. Bagging. If a leaf is found to be slanting, it can be covered with a black paper bag; after about two weeks, remove the bag, and the leaf will naturally straighten.
