How to grow the Dasuxue orchid so it produces more flowers

Dasuxue is a type of orchid. Compared with ordinary orchids, this flower looks more elegant and has extremely high ornamental value. When it blooms, its fragrance is rich and it is very endearing. Keeping one at home is a very good choice. Let's take a look at how exactly to grow Dasuxue.
How to grow Dasuxue
1. Soil
When planting Dasuxue, it is best to choose soil rich in humus. You can mainly use leaf mold to grow it, and you can also appropriately mix in some garden soil, peat soil, etc. Some bone meal and other base fertilizer should also be appropriately added to the soil, so as to ensure the nutrients needed for future growth.
2. Temperature
Dasuxue likes to grow in an environment of 15-28 degrees. It is not very tolerant of high temperatures or severe cold. Therefore, in summer, the ambient temperature is best not higher than 30 degrees, and it should not be placed outdoors for a long time at above 35 degrees, so as to avoid sunburn. In winter, it can safely get through as long as the temperature is generally not lower than 0 degrees, so it is best to grow it indoors.
3. Humidity
Compared with other orchids, Dasuxue has slightly higher humidity requirements. It is best to maintain 60-80% air humidity, and the environment should be ventilated and airy, so that it will not feel stuffy and damp. When watering, you can spray more water into the surrounding air, and you can also appropriately sprinkle some water on the leaves.
4. Watering
Watering does not need to follow a fixed frequency. It should be adjusted flexibly according to the overall condition of the plant and the dryness and moisture level of the soil. If watering is improper, it can easily lead to yellow leaves and root rot. It is best to water by the principle of watering when dry and letting it dry out between waterings. Do not let it stay dry for a long time, and do not allow water to accumulate.
5. Fertilizing
Before the plant reaches maturity, generally no excessive fertilizing is needed. After it grows up, you can appropriately apply additional fertilizer, preferably diluted organic fertilizer, which can make the plant grow a bit faster. Before the flowering period, pay attention to reducing the nitrogen fertilizer content, so as not to affect the quality of flowering and the length of the flowering period.
6. Precautions
For Dasuxue grown indoors, be sure to place it in a spot with sufficient light so it can carry out more photosynthesis. Do not leave it for a long time in a place that is too dark and cannot see light. Air humidity and the moisture of the potting soil should be well controlled. It should not be too dry, so as not to affect the growth of the plant. In addition, pests and diseases also need to be prevented. It is best to regularly check whether there are wounds on the leaves of the plant caused by pests.
