How to water orchids with monopotassium phosphate? What should you pay attention to?

Do not water orchids with monopotassium phosphate! Monopotassium phosphate is originally a foliar fertilizer, and perhaps when applied to other plants it can be used as a root drench, but never use it on orchids. Haoshe Nongfu tested this personally.

Once, Haoshe Nongfu noticed that a pot of Cymbidium faberi had produced three flower spikes, and looking at the leaves, it seemed to be short of fertilizer, because I normally do not fertilize at all. Considering that so many flower spikes blooming would consume a lot of nutrients, I root-drenched this pot of Cymbidium faberi with monopotassium phosphate at a concentration between 500 and 700 (no precise measuring cup). At the same time, there were several identical pots of Cymbidium faberi kept in the same environment that were not root-drenched with monopotassium phosphate. Half a month later, all the flower buds of the root-drenched Cymbidium faberi withered and died, while the other pots grew vigorously and vibrantly, and later bloomed and produced shoots well.

The key problem came later. That pot of Cymbidium faberi that had lost its buds began to slowly wither more than a month later, feeling just like stem rot, with one shoot withering after another. In the end, I had to unpot it and divide the clumps to barely save the remaining two shoots.
