How to grow orchids so they bloom easily? Practical care tips to share

If you want orchids to bloom easily, choose humus soil and bury an appropriate amount of diluted liquid fertilizer in the soil; water according to the principle of seven parts dry and three parts wet, and do not apply strong fertilizer to orchids; prune the flower buds appropriately so that nutrients are more concentrated; place the orchids in a bright location to promote blooming.
1. Soil selection
For planting orchids, it is best to choose humus soil, and bury an appropriate amount of diluted liquid fertilizer in the soil, so that the orchids have sufficient nutrients during the flowering period; avoid using clay soil or alkaline soil, because this kind of soil is not breathable, which will cause the orchid roots to be unable to absorb oxygen and rot, which is not conducive to orchid blooming.
2. Watering time Orchids are plants that can be grown in all four seasons. Orchids are drought-tolerant, and seven parts dry and three parts wet is best. In spring, water once every three days; in summer, water every morning and evening; in autumn, it can be determined by the dryness and wetness of the soil; in winter, water as little as possible. When watering, pay attention to watering along the edge, and do not water from the top of the orchid.
3. Fertilization interval
When the plant is in the growing period, orchids should not be given heavy fertilizer. In the first year of growing orchids, it is not suitable to fertilize; during this period, just ensure that the new roots are healthy and vigorous. After about two years of cultivation, generally from April to the Beginning of Autumn, fertilize once every forty days, and less fertilizer should be applied in summer.
4. Pruning flower buds After there are flower buds, select the best-developed and most ornamental flower buds, and remove all the remaining flower buds. During the bud period, keep the orchid moist. In the hot and dry summer, spray around the orchid frequently to increase the humidity in the air. About 15 days after the orchid blooms, cut off all the remaining flower buds, which helps preserve the orchid's precious nutrients and speeds up blooming the next year.
5. Placement location
Pay attention to the placement location of the orchid, open the windows often for ventilation, and try to avoid sunlight. If exposed to strong sunlight, the flowering rate of the plant will be reduced; it can be placed for a long time in a relatively bright place such as a bedroom, living room, or office area, which helps strengthen the plant's photosynthesis and promote orchid blooming.
