How often should a clivia be watered with beer?

When using beer to water a clivia, once about every 15 days is fine; doing it when the flower scape is about to emerge can prevent the scape from getting stuck. It cannot be used directly when watering; it needs to be diluted first at a ratio of 1:50, or it can be diluted at a ratio of 1:20 and sprayed onto the leaves. In addition, wiping the surface of the leaves with a soft cloth can also help it grow better, and the leaf color will become a more vivid green.

I. Water once about every 15 days

The frequency of watering a clivia with beer must not be too often; under normal circumstances, doing it once about every 15 days is enough. Watering too much not only fails to replenish nutrients for it, but also hinders its normal growth. In addition, doing it when it is about to send up a flower scape is best, because it can prevent the scape from getting stuck.

Also, when using beer for watering, do not use it directly; it must first be diluted with water before watering, otherwise it is very likely to burn the roots, causing the plant to wilt and die.

II. Correct methods of use

1. Watering: dilute beer and water at a ratio of 1:50, and only after it is evenly diluted can you water with it.

2. Spraying leaves: dilute beer and water at a ratio of 1:10; after that, you can put it into a spray bottle and use it to spray the leaves, which is also quite good.

3. Wiping the leaf surface: find a clean soft cloth, dip it in an appropriate amount of beer and wipe the leaf surface; it can not only wipe away the dust on the surface, but also make the plant's leaves greener and more glossy.
