How to fix yellowing orchid leaves and scorched, withered leaf tips

Many friends like to grow orchids at home, but some friends find that orchids are not easy to grow well, especially in pots, where getting them to grow vigorously and bloom smoothly seems very difficult. Some friends even accidentally kill their orchids, so there is quite a lot of complaining.
But the most common problem of all is orchids developing yellow leaves and scorched, withered leaf tips. When orchids show these signs of poor growth, we do have ways to fix them, and the process is very simple. So, what should you do when orchid leaves turn yellow and leaf tips wither and scorch?
In fact, all we need to do is keep a few tablets on hand for the orchid, and it can return to a lush green growing state. These tablets are ferrous sulfate; giving the orchid a little can make up for yellowing caused by iron deficiency. Because when an orchid lacks iron, it tends to develop yellow leaves and scorched leaf tips.
When an orchid lacks iron, not only do the above problems appear, but the surface of the leaves also slowly turns from green to white. If iron deficiency persists for a long time, its leaves may also dry up and die, and in severe cases the entire plant may die. So it is recommended that everyone keep a few ferrous sulfate tablets on hand at home.
Giving an orchid a little ferrous sulfate not only supplements iron, but also raises the acidity of the potting soil, making it more suitable for growing acid-loving plants like orchids. As long as we use these tablets correctly, the effect on promoting orchid growth is very obvious.
And the method of use is also fairly simple: take out a few ferrous sulfate tablets, then grind them into powder and put it into a container, while dissolving and diluting it with water at a ratio of 1 to 800. After letting the tablets dissolve fully and shaking the solution evenly, when watering the orchid, use this solution instead of plain water to pour into the pot.
Generally, we keep watering the orchid with this solution once every half a month, for 2 times in a row, and it often makes orchids with yellow leaves, scorched leaf tips and poor leaf color regain their emerald green. Altogether it takes about 1 month or so, and the orchid can return to normal growth and ornamental condition, and its growth is also very vigorous.
Of course, if you do not have ferrous sulfate at home, we can also use green vitriol as a substitute. Following the above method, it can likewise produce the same growth-promoting effect. So when an orchid shows the above problems, giving it a little ferrous sulfate or green vitriol can easily solve the problem.
