When do orchids bloom, which months do orchids bloom

Different varieties of orchids bloom throughout the four seasons of the year. For example, the flowering period of Chunlan (Cymbidium goeringii) is from January to March; the flowering period of Chunjian and Jiutoulan is from March to April; the flowering period of Huilan (Cymbidium faberi) is from March to May; the flowering period of Jianlan (Gladiolus) is from September to October; the flowering period of Molan (Cymbidium sinense) is from November to December; and the flowering period of Hanlan and Lianbilan is from December to January. Therefore, because orchids differ in variety, region, climate and other factors, their blooming times also differ.

II. How to care for them
1. Soil: Orchids prefer soil with good permeability, that is loose and soft, with good drainage, and slightly acidic.
2. Care environment: Orchids prefer a shaded and well-ventilated growing environment. In spring, summer and autumn they can be kept outdoors, while in winter they should be kept indoors. However, note that when the summer sun is strong, strong light needs to be blocked.
3. Temperature: The suitable temperature for orchid growth is around 18-30 degrees. When the temperature is below 5 degrees or above 35, the plant's growth will become slow.
4. Fertilizing: Fertilizing should be done appropriately. You cannot skip it, nor can you fertilize excessively. Around the spring equinox, the autumn equinox, and about 20 days after the flowers fade, fertilizing is needed. It is best to fertilize in the evening, and on the morning of the second day after fertilizing, water once with clear water. As for the frequency of fertilizing, it is best to apply fertilizer once every 2-3 weeks.
5. Water: Keeping it at eight parts moist is enough to meet its water needs. During thunderstorms, showers or continuous rain, rain protection should be done well. In addition, do not choose to water the plant at noon.
