What to Do If Clivia (Kaffir Lily) Leaves Curl? Causes and Solutions

The causes of curled Clivia leaves include:
① If the plant was recently divided, the roots may be damaged, causing the leaves to curl.
② If the potting soil is too dry, the water supply cannot meet the plant's growth needs, resulting in leaf curling.
③ If the soil quality is poor, with poor aeration and drainage, root growth is impaired, which affects the plant's absorption of water and nutrients.
Remedial measures:
① If the potting soil is too dry, water it promptly. In spring and autumn, keep the potting soil slightly moist, but not too wet, otherwise root rot can easily occur.
② If leaf curling is caused by poor soil quality, repot in time. Mix mountain soil with 1/5 sand or rice husk ash, stir well, and then plant. The plant will return to normal growth.
