What to do when a Clivia gets broken leaves

Friends who like Clivia know that its flowering period is relatively short, so during cultivation, the value of Clivia's foliage is often higher than that of its flowers. However, if you are not careful with its care, Clivia can suffer broken leaves. So, if your Clivia has broken leaves, how should you save it?

Clivia

With Clivia, the foliage is better than the flowers, so protecting the leaves is very important. But sometimes, carelessly, a leaf inevitably gets bent or broken. With prompt rescue, it is entirely possible to replant a broken leaf. If the leaf is only damaged but not broken off, simply wrap it with clear tape. If the leaf has already been broken off, first fix it in place with a suitably sized piece of plastic, then wrap it with clear tape; because both the plastic and the clear tape are light-transmitting, they do not affect the leaf's photosynthesis. However, before wrapping, be sure to align the broken leaf position correctly, and use absorbent cotton to thoroughly wipe away the sap on the broken leaf.
