What causes orchid leaf tip burn
Why do orchids get leaf tip burn

Causes and solutions for leaf tip burn in orchids:
① Improper potting soil. Orchids prefer acidic, loose soil with especially good drainage; a 3-5 cm layer of gravel should be placed at the bottom of the pot to allow air and water to pass through. Overly wet potting soil is a major taboo in orchid care.
② Improper fertilizing. Newly planted orchids do not need fertilizing in the first year; during the vigorous growth period of the second year, apply dilute fertilizer, mainly phosphorus fertilizer; do not fertilize during the hot summer weather or before flowering.
③ Improper watering. Avoid both overwatering and underwatering.
④ Improper lighting. Avoid direct strong sunlight.
