The clivia's roots are fine but it just won't grow leaves - what's going on?

The clivia's roots are normal and growing well. The leaves are also normal, bright green, with no pests or diseases. A clivia like this should be considered very normal in its leaves, yet the leaves show no visible growth. This is neither a sign of illness in the clivia nor poor growth. In my view, the reason lies in two aspects.

First, the psychological effect on the person growing the clivia. Generally, flower growers spend all day around their plants, looking at them all day long. Even if the clivia's leaves have already grown, because they stare at the plant all day, they become blind to its growth and won't notice that the leaves are already growing. This is a common visual perception problem among ordinary flower growers, and a visual issue that easily arises.

Second, the clivia's fertilizer supply may be insufficient. When the clivia is being cultivated, because fertilizer is insufficient, and it is grown in a single pot with no reference point for comparison, its growth appears abnormal. This is also one of those easily overlooked phenomena that is only natural. The solution is to apply more organic fertilizer to the clivia, such as fully fermented and decomposed chicken manure or cake fertilizer, applied deep into each pot at 0.1-0.2 kg. Ordinary compound fertilizer can also be used, at about 0.05 kg per pot. When a clivia lacks fertilizer, its leaves grow slowly, which is also a very normal phenomenon and hard to notice.

In short, the clivia's roots are growing normally, the plant is also fairly normal, and there are no pests or diseases. The two reasons for the leaves appearing not to grow are the visual-psychological effect and insufficient fertilizer.
