How to water a Christmas cactus correctly during the flowering period

During the flowering period, the Christmas cactus should be watered according to the method of controlling water and retaining moisture. When it blooms in spring, water it once every 5 days in the early morning or evening. In summer, adjust the number of waterings according to the dryness and moisture of the soil, generally watering once a day. In addition, when watering, pair it with an appropriate amount of monopotassium phosphate, and the Christmas cactus will bloom more vigorously.

1. Control water and retain moisture

During the flowering period of the Christmas cactus, water it according to the principle of controlling water and retaining moisture. The number of waterings should not be too many; water about once every 3 days. If the temperature is relatively low, the watering interval can be extended, watering about once every week. In addition, watering must ensure that the soil is completely moist.

2. Water by season

Watering should be done by season. If it is blooming in spring, when the temperature is suitable and the air is relatively humid, water on a 5-day cycle.
