What growing medium is best for soilless cultivation of clivia

The medium used for soilless cultivation of clivia should meet the following conditions:
① Relatively small particles. Since the roots of clivia are fleshy, thick and dense, a medium with smaller particles should be chosen so that it can fit closely around the roots; this facilitates nutrient uptake and promotes rapid plant growth and development.
② Strong water absorption and fertilizer retention. The medium used in soilless cultivation is nutrient-free, so the nutrients clivia needs for growth come mainly from the nutrient solution applied; the medium must therefore be able to absorb water and retain fertilizer.
③ Clean and hygienic. Unlike soil, the medium used in soilless cultivation does not have a microbial ecological balance system, so it must be kept clean and hygienic during use to prevent the plant from being infected with diseases.
