How to prevent slanted leaves on clivia? Master these methods

Friends who like clivia (Clivia miniata) probably know that how well the leaves grow is very important for clivia. Some clivia varieties are especially prone to slanted leaves, which is very likely caused by insufficiently even light. So how should you prevent and treat slanted clivia leaves and make your clivia look more beautiful?
Clivia
1. Regularly adjust the orientation of the flower pot. The clivia pot should be rotated 180° regularly; during the vigorous growing season the rotation cycle is about 7 days, and during the slow growing season about 10 days.
2. For clivia plants whose leaves have already become uneven, mechanical shaping and light shaping methods can be used to correct them.
1. Mechanical shaping: one way is to use a small clip to clip the leaf that has already strayed out together with the adjacent leaf in the correct position (note that the clipped part should be padded with soft paper to prevent the leaves from being pinched and damaged); after a period of time, the strayed leaf can basically return to the correct position. Another way is to bend two bamboo strips of the same length and thickness into a bow shape, then insert them along the two sides of the clivia's fan-shaped leaves into the inner edge of the pot respectively, forming a clamping force; if the force is insufficient, a thin string can be tied between the two bamboo strips.
It should be noted that mechanical shaping easily causes leaves to be pulled apart or damaged, so extra care is needed when doing it.
2. Light shaping: cut opaque cigarette tin foil (other opaque thick paper also works) to a length and width basically the same as the leaf, then fold it lengthwise in half from the middle, wrap it around half of the leaf on the side that has been pulled slanted by the sunlight, then use transparent tape to stick the tin foil to both the front and back sides of the leaf. After 10 to 15 days this way, the crooked leaf will be corrected. Using this method will not damage the leaf, and it is simple and practical.
It should be noted that when the center line of the leaf being corrected is basically consistent with the other leaves, the wrapped tin foil should be removed in time, otherwise over-correction will occur.
