Want your clivia to bloom? Just give it a little beer

The clivia is actually a bit of a drinker - it loves drinking beer. If you want your clivia to bloom, just give it a little beer. 😀

Mix warm water and beer at a ratio of 1 to 1, with the beer water at 20-25°C, then slowly pour it along the flower pot. It is best to use a spray bottle and spray thoroughly, until water starts dripping from the bottom of the pot.

This is especially important in the early stage when the clivia sends up its flower stalk, as this is the most critical period that determines whether the flower stalk will get stuck. Be sure to seize the moment and use beer water.

You can also wipe the leaf surfaces with beer water to add nutrients, so the clivia grows well and the flowers bloom large and beautiful.
