How to grow clivia and precautions for repotting

The first step in growing it is to use soil rich in humus; the second step is to place it in a spot with plenty of light, but avoid direct sun exposure; the third step is not to water too much, and keeping the potting soil moist is best; the fourth step is fertilizing once or twice a month, mainly with dilute fertilizer; finally, note that it only needs to be repotted once every 2-3 years in spring or autumn.

1. Light: Clivia is a plant that likes moisture and is suitable for growing in high-humidity environments, but it has low light requirements. As long as the temperature is suitable, it does not matter whether the light duration is a little longer or shorter. Although good light can ensure that the clivia flowers are brightly colored, it still prefers slightly weaker light, so strong light must be avoided.

2. Fertilizing: When fertilizing clivia, try to use mainly phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, and apply as little nitrogen fertilizer as possible. Also, try to use mainly dilute fertilizer, and after fertilizing, water the clivia once to dilute the fertility in the soil. This will help the clivia absorb the nutrients in the soil better. When fertilizing, do not fertilize too frequently; fertilizing once or twice a month is enough.

3. Watering: As for watering, because it itself contains a large amount of water, it is relatively drought-tolerant, but watering must not be forgotten either. Keeping the soil between moist and dry is enough. If it is too wet, it will cause the plant to rot at the roots and die; if it is too dry, the plant cannot absorb water. Every time you water, be sure to water thoroughly.
