How to make potted clivia leaves grow normally

The clivia plant has a distinctive shape. In a normally growing plant, the leaves on both sides should be arranged in a fan shape, appearing as a single line when viewed from the side and as a fan when viewed from the front. To achieve this, pay attention to the following during care:

① Treatment of seedling plants. When a seedling has grown for one year, insert a "∏"-shaped galvanized wire frame into the pot and wedge the leaves in place so that the clivia plant grows into a straight-line fan shape. After one year, simply pull out the wire frame.

② Bagging. If individual leaves are found to be slanting, cover them with a black paper bag. Remove it after 14 days, and the leaves will naturally straighten.

③ Rotating the direction. To prevent the clivia from being placed in one spot for a long time, which causes uneven light exposure and leads to slanting leaves or leaves of uneven length, the position of the pot needs to be rotated frequently, generally once every week.
