How should broccoli downy mildew be prevented

Broccoli downy mildew is fairly obvious during the head development stage. Older leaves are affected first, then it spreads to young leaves. In the early stage of the disease, chlorosis appears and the leaves turn yellow. When dry, the leaves wither; when humid, mold appears on the underside of the leaves.

Control methods. (1) Plant disease-resistant varieties and treat seeds with fungicide before sowing. (2) Practice crop rotation for more than two years, avoid continuous cropping, plow the soil deeply and let it bleach in the sun, and spray Hushu Dajiangjun to disinfect and sterilize. (3) When cultivating out of season, determine a suitable sowing period according to local conditions. (4) After harvesting the previous crop, remove diseased leaves and plow deeply in time. It is best to use high-ridge cultivation, which helps with drainage and drought prevention, prevents the surface soil temperature from being too high or too dry, and avoids burning young roots.
