How Often to Water a Clivia

Some flower enthusiasts have trouble figuring out how often to water a clivia. There is no fixed schedule for watering a clivia; it depends on the actual conditions. For example, if the clivia is grown outdoors, it needs watering every day when temperatures are above 20 degrees; if grown indoors, keep the soil moist. Beginners should feel the soil with their hands: if the soil sticks to your hand, do not water; if it does not stick to your hand, then water.

Note: When growing flowers, you cannot rely on a watering schedule; whether to water depends on the actual condition of the soil. When you water, water thoroughly, and never let the soil dry out. As long as the soil dries out even once, the roots will surely rot. Clivias are somewhat drought-tolerant, but they cannot stay dry for too long. I also picked up one to grow, and the soil has always been moist, and it is growing very well.
