Can clivia be shaped

Clivia

Clivia is a perennial evergreen herbaceous plant, with a pseudobulb at the base, broad and thick leaves arranged in two opposite rows, relatively upright and regular. Unlike other woody flowering plants, it is very difficult to shape by bending and tying. However, its leaves can be made to grow in a neat arrangement, appearing more upright and dignified. Generally, the following two methods can be used:

First, directional cultivation, which means fixing the orientation of the potted plant toward the side with ample sunlight, and when the leaves are found to lean in a certain direction, turning the pot 180° to the opposite side. This can reduce inconsistency in the horizontal and vertical tilting of leaf growth.

Second, for medium and large potted clivia plants, wire or string can be used to manually pull the tilted leaves upright and fix them in an upright arrangement. But in other words, letting clivia leaves grow naturally, appearing more elegant and free-spirited, also has its own distinctive style.
