How to Scientifically Care for Clivia After Blooming

For a clivia that has finished blooming, if the pot is too small and it has produced offsets, you can repot it with fresh soil and carry out division propagation. If it has already set seed, postpone repotting and soil replacement until early winter, after the seeds have been harvested. After the clivia sets seed, apply a dilute compound fertilizer once every 10-15 days to encourage continued leaf growth and plump seeds. However, never apply concentrated or raw fertilizer, otherwise not only will the leaf tips turn yellow, but the seeds that have already formed will also drop off. At the same time, it should be placed in a ventilated, cool, semi-shaded spot, protected from scorching sun and direct rain, and the potting soil should be kept slightly on the dry side; never let the soil become excessively wet.
