Clivia sooty mold control methods and edible mushroom cultivation techniques
Clivia sooty mold control methods
Symptoms: Clivia sooty mold generally occurs in hot and humid seasons. In the early stage, purple-brown spots appear on the affected parts, then gradually spread into dark brown patches 1 cm to 2 cm in diameter. A sooty substance appears on the diseased parts, tightly adhering to the leaves, affecting the plant's photosynthesis and respiration.
Control methods: In the early stage of the disease, a 500-fold dilution of Duofu mixture (a mixture of 25% carbendazim and 75% thiram) wettable powder can be used, sprayed once every 10 to 12 days; 50% wettable powder can also be sprayed alone.
