High-yield Cultivation Techniques for Edible Mushrooms and Key Care Points for Clivia After Blooming
A Blooming Clivia
After blooming, if the pot is too small and the clivia has produced offsets, it can be repotted with fresh soil and divided for propagation. If it has already set seed, postpone repotting and soil replacement until early winter, after the seeds have been collected. After the clivia sets seed, apply a dilute compound fertilizer once every 10-15 days to encourage continued leaf growth and plump seeds. However, never apply concentrated or unfermented fertilizer, otherwise not only will the leaf tips turn yellow, but the seeds that have already formed will also drop off. At the same time, it should be placed in a ventilated, cool, semi-shaded spot, protected from scorching sun and direct rain, and the potting soil should be kept slightly on the dry side; never let the soil become too wet.
