Three Key Points for Greenhouse Broccoli Cultivation and Methods for Controlling Edible Fungus Diseases
1. Scientific seed selection and seedling raising. To improve economic returns, pay attention to matching early, mid and late maturing varieties, and choose varieties with strong plant growth vigor, dark green leaves, abundant wax, tight heads, small buds and large heads. Broccoli has a short seedling age (30-35 days), so depending on the specific situation, seedlings can be raised in mid to late October, with a large volume coming to market before the Spring Festival. For seedling raising, nutrient pots (10 cm x 10 cm) or the nutrient square method (8 cm x 8 cm) can be used. The nutrient soil is prepared with 8 parts fertile garden soil + 2 parts fully decomposed chicken manure or sheep manure. After sowing, water once thoroughly and spray with New High Lipid Film to increase the emergence rate. After emergence in 2-3 days, pull out weeds. The seedbed should be kept moist at all times. When 1-2 true leaves appear, thin the seedlings 1-2 times in good time, removing weak and overly dense seedlings. Keep the bed temperature at 20-30°C. Otherwise, if the bed temperature is too low and the seedling age is too long, small old seedlings will result, leading to short plants and reduced yield after planting. If the bed temperature is too high and the humidity is too great, the seedlings will grow leggy and become weak, leading to weak plant growth vigor and reduced yield. When the seedlings grow to 5-7 true leaves at about 30-35 days, control fertilizer and water, ventilate to reduce humidity, and harden the seedlings for 3-5 days to improve the survival rate after transplanting.
2. Reasonable planting. Before planting, apply 4000 kg of high-quality farmyard manure, 15 kg of diammonium phosphate and 10 kg of ammonium nitrate per mu, mix evenly, plow, harrow finely and level, then form ridges and plant in wide and narrow rows of 70+50 cm. After planting, apply fertilizer and water together, and use plant electronic fertilizer in combination, using the high-energy electrons emitted by the plant's own photosynthesis and the principle of plant electronic polarity induction to improve cell division, molecular synthesis and nutrient matching and digestion levels, accelerate the frequency of metabolism, and activate the plant nutrient transport system to produce effects beyond fertilizer efficiency. Keep the temperature at 8-24°C to promote plant growth as quickly as possible and increase leaf area. After about 10 days, apply 15 kg of ammonium nitrate as a top dressing together with watering. Before the terminal head appears, apply 6 kg of ammonium nitrate as a top dressing. After the head appears, keep the temperature at 15-18°C. Below 8°C, the head grows slowly; above 24°C, the head becomes loose. During the entire plant growth period, the temperature should not exceed 32°C. 3. Pest and disease control. Vegetable pest and disease control should focus on prevention, and ecological agents such as Vegetable Stem Strengthener can make plant stems thick and strong, leaves thick, leaf color fresh and tender, and plants lush, with a strong natural taste. At the same time, it can improve disaster resistance, reduce the amount of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, and lower residual toxicity. (Dadi)
