Clever Treatment of Clivia Anthracnose

Clivia anthracnose mostly occurs at the leaf tips and leaf margins. The symptoms are similar to those of leaf spot disease. In the early stage of the disease, moist brown lesions appear, sometimes with pink gelatinous mucus, which is the pathogen's acervuli and conidial masses. After development and spread, semicircular or irregularly oval red-purple or dark brown lesions form, with the center being light brown or grayish white and slightly sunken. After onset, they gradually expand, and concentric ring markings can be seen around them, appearing brown. The lesions gradually shrink and dry up, with scattered black granular substances on the spots. In severe cases, the entire leaf turns black and withers.

Key points for prevention and control: 1. Frequently spray New High-Fat Film to prevent viral infection of the leaves and to suffocate and isolate sources of pests and diseases. 2. Pay attention to ventilation and light, and ensure good drainage of the potting soil. In nutrient management, appropriately increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers and control the application rate of nitrogen fertilizer; 2. Once symptoms are found, treat them early. You can use 50% wettable powder thiophanate-methyl at 1000 times, 60% anthracnose Fumei at 800 times, and other chemicals together with New High-Fat Film, which can achieve highly effective treatment and prevention.
