Post-transplant management of spring broccoli

After the beginning of spring, from mid to late February, the seedlings are transplanted into the field in succession, using plastic film cultivation. Planting spacing: 55-65 cm between plants and rows, with a density of 1,500-1,800 plants per mu. After planting, spray a 500-700 times diluted solution of Xin Gao Zhi Mo (New High-Lipid Film) to prevent ground moisture from evaporating and seedling moisture from transpiring, isolate pests and diseases, shorten the seedling recovery period, and help the plants quickly adapt to the new environment and grow healthily.

Apply 40-50 jin of phosphate fertilizer, 20-30 jin of potassium fertilizer or ash fertilizer, and 10-15 jin of nitrogen fertilizer per mu. After budding, apply an additional 20-30 jin of quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer to prevent hollow or rotting curds and flower stalks. Applying potassium fertilizer during the curd formation stage has a significant yield-increasing effect. Combine this with 1-2 foliar applications of trace elements, borax and monopotassium phosphate, at a concentration of 0.1%.

Because broccoli leaves are broad, large and dark green, the plants are affected by cabbage caterpillars throughout the entire growth period. A 1,000 times diluted solution of Sumicidin plus a 600-800 times diluted solution of Xin Gao Zhi Mo can be used for control. (Qinghan)
