How to keep koi fish, common bacterial diseases of koi in autumn - skin inflammation and congestion disease

Koi 0 views
Bacterial diseases: skin inflammation and congestion disease (1) Cause: Most of the affected fish are large older fish and koi over one year old. The epidemic season runs from late spring to early autumn and can cause massive fish deaths. It is most prevalent when the water temperature is 20-30°C, and below 20°C, a few cases still occur...
(3) Treatment:
# Dip the fish body in a nitrofurazone or furazolidone solution at a concentration of 20MG/KG. When the water temperature is below 20°C, dip for 20-30 minutes; at 21-32°C, dip for 10-15 minutes. Used for prevention and early treatment.
# Spray nitrofurazone or furazolidone over the whole pond at a concentration of 0.2-0.3MG/KG. If the condition is severe, the concentration can be increased to 0.5-1.2MG/KG. Used for prevention and early treatment.
# Dip the fish body in an erythromycin solution at a concentration of 2-2.5MG/KG. At a water temperature below 34°C, dip for 30-50 minutes, once a day for 3-5 consecutive days, until the condition improves.
# Inject streptomycin or kanamycin at 120,000-150,000 international units per kilogram of fish body weight. Usually only one injection is given. If the condition is severe, a second injection can be given on the fifth day.
# Oral administration of norfloxacin: 0.8-1.0G of powder per 10KG of fish body weight per day, once a day for six consecutive days.
# Dip in a rivanol solution at a concentration of 20MG/KG. When the water temperature is 5-20°C, dip for 15-30 minutes; at 21-32°C, dip for 10-15 minutes. Used for early treatment with obvious results.
# Spraying rivanol at a concentration of 0.8-1.5MG/KG has a remarkable effect.
# Carrying out a saltwater bath while using the above treatment methods gives obvious results.
(4) Prevention:
# Stock reasonably and densely, and maintain the dissolved oxygen content in the water at around 5MG/L.
# Strengthen feeding management and keep the water quality fresh.
# Regularly spray nitrofurazone or furazolidone over the whole pond to prevent disease occurrence.
